João Moita da Silva – Elected Professional of the Year

The winners of the 7th edition of the AHRESP – Associação da Hotelaria, Restauração e Similares de Portugal 2023 Awards are now revealed.

This year, a record of 54,000 votes were cast in the 13 categories on the ballot. Honouring companies, institutions, establishments, regions, events, products, services and professionals in the catering, accommodation and tourism promotion sectors in Portugal.

“It’s a moment of celebration and joy and it’s time to honour those who take risks and invest. We live in an uncertain, complex environment in which nothing is easy and everything is very fast, but in an international context we have to be the best,” said Carlos Moura, Chairman Board of AHRESP.

Therefore, it is with great admiration and pride that we have seen João Moita da Silva , brand operations director of MS Collection, the MS Group’s five-star brand, honoured as Professional of the Year.
